Affton CenterStage Theatre Presents The premise for this year’s production written & Directed by Lee Mueller It’s the 1940’s at the Club Chez Mort. Dinner has just concluded and the evening’s entertainment is about to begin with the poplar singer Lady Lelu. But before she can begin a disagreement erupts between the emcee Jean Paul Truffaut and Mack the stage hand. It seems that local gangster Big Suit Lou has insisted his new sweetheart Sweet Sue should sing tonight in place of Lady Lelu.
