                                                                                 Our Murder Mystery Production

Murder by the Book

by Craig Sodaro

“Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado.”

Directed by :  Dominic Cavicchia

“Wanted: a lover of literature in author’s shoes.”

It is time once more for the secretive Raven Society, whose prestigious ranks include the likes of Edger Allen Poe, Mark Twain, Agatha Christie, and most recently a dashing upstart by the name of William Shakespeare, to meet and judge the merit of the past year’s new works of mystery and murder.  To the best shall be awarded the “Smoking Gun” a title of such esteemed caliber it all but guarantees an author fame and fortune.  The worst shall be struck down by the much dreaded “Dagger” award, thrust into obscurity, and fated to be “out of print”.  However the life of a critic can be dangerous, and this year the only murders they critique could very well be their own.  Will the combined wit of the world’s greatest authors be enough to solve a true crime or are they destined, one by one, to death “by their own words”.  No skipping to the final chapter, no peeking at the last page.
